Welcome to Blessed Birth Haven!  My name is Joelia.  I am a Christian, first and foremost. My faith guides every aspect of my life, and my goal is to do everything I do with excellence and integrity, as unto Him.  I am also a blessed wife to an amazing husband of 20 years, a dedicated labor and delivery nurse, and a United States Air Force veteran.

With over 14 years of experience as a master's-prepared nurse, I specialize in labor, delivery, and postpartum care. I am passionate about helping women embrace childbirth as a positive and transformative experience.  I am fully committed to empowering women to approach birth without fear, trauma, or unnecessary intervention and stress.

As a Christian RN doula, my mission is to provide women with the tools they need—through comprehensive education, body preparation, and emotional and spiritual support—to have the most empowering and joyful birth experience of their lives. I believe every woman deserves to feel confident and supported during this incredible journey, and I am honored to be part of that process.
